Christmas Party Fever!

Christmas in style!




We have had almost a Christmas party a day for the last week!  That's how they do it in South Africa!  Then everyone leaves town to go on vacation to the coast.  It's pretty quiet in our neighborhood now.


I am enjoying having all the kids home right now!

Christmas Fun

Our family helped share Christmas in a nursing home recently.  Allison played piano and Alexis held the music while Lucas & Joshua helped lead the singing of Christmas carols. The kids helped some of the folks do a Christmas craft and then we walked around handing out gift bags and meat pies (a very South African food).  We were even able to visit many of the people in the frail care section.  We were so proud of our kids-giving hugs to strangers and helping others to smile!


This is Dan & Allison's 6th & 7th grade Sunday School class!


Alexis & Joshua were both in their Sunday School Christmas program.

Lucas wanted a new hairdo so I made a deal with him.  He could have a mohawk after the last day of school until Christmas!

Joshua loves to look for money on the street!  He finds a lot!


Alexis is learning to cook with mom every Thursday.


Lucas is enjoying another season of baseball!




Rebekah likes her potato head to have 4 arms!
